Insurance
What types of insurance does Kessler Insurance offer?
We provide all types of insurance, from life and travel to home and commercial. At Kessler, we offer Warman, Osler, and Saskatoon a full suite of insurance options that can be tailored to your unique life. We match the right coverage to your need.
How can I lower my insurance costs?
When you buy from Kessler Insurance, we will compare premiums from several companies, ensuring that you get the product you need for the best price. We can discuss your coverage limits and deductibles if you want lower premiums.
How do I make sure that I have enough insurance?
We have tools to help you determine the right insurance limits for your property. When purchasing a policy, you are the one who must decide what limits of insurance to purchase.
What is a Deductible?
The deductible on a policy is the amount that the insured person is responsible for in the event of a loss. If your car is damaged in an accident where you are at fault, and there is $5,000 in damages, you are responsible to pay those damages. However, your insurance policy allows you only to be responsible for paying the deductible. If you have basic coverage in Saskatchewan, the plate deductible is $700 for collisions, but you can customize your deductible amount and coverage options anytime.
What is the Replacement Cost?
This type of property coverage will pay to replace the damaged property with a brand new one of the same kind, kind, and quality. If replacement cost is not offered, the property is covered for ACV (Actual Cash Value), which only pays what the property was worth when the damage happened.
What is Liability Coverage?
Liability insurance protects you from all or most of the costs associated with legal claims. This insurance style pays out the costs associated with injury or damage that are your responsibility to mitigate. This can include someone injuring themselves on your property due to neglect or a business client slipping and falling in your office without a wet floor sign. Liability coverage is built into all your insurance policies but can be customized to suit your needs and your level of risk.
Home Insurance
What does a home insurance policy cover?
Home Insurance covers the dwelling, outbuildings, belongings, and personal liability. But there are so many other options and coverages that are included and/or can be added to the policy that we can tailor to meet your insurance needs.
How is my home insurance premium determined?
Home insurance is individually rated with most insurance companies, which means your unique information and needs determine your premium.
Some of the main considerations are:
- Dwelling value
- Location
- Ages of occupants
- Deductible requested
- Type of policy – broad or comprehensive
- Insurance claims history
- Optional coverages added
Commercial Insurance
What is business insurance?
This is insurance to protect your business property, give you liability coverage, and can also protect your business income. We can tailor a business policy to suit your business insurance needs.
What is business interruption insurance?
This is an optional part of a commercial policy that can protect your business from loss of income should your business have a property claim. Business interruption insurance can cover lost income, extra expenses incurred, and even lost profits if the right options are purchased.
How do I determine what types of insurance my business needs?
We can work with you to help you discover what you may be at risk for, what coverages are needed, and what company and policy would work best for your business.
How is my business covered against cyber attacks?
